Hailing from the great state 48, the American Amigos arrive just in time to make sure to deliver on that promise. The Amigos always mean business when they take the stage with their high-energy songs and stage presence. They combine instant favorites from the The Foo Fighters, Weezer, and Jet to name a few influences.

With a love of rock, pop and country music the American Amigos (Will Musa, Brian Blokdijk, Daren Sweet and Kelly Stamps) have quickly forged their own distinct music identify that hails to the classic songs in popular music. They strive to combine all these influences in their timeless songwriting. Recently Kelly Stamps has joined up with the Amigos after playing with Wil and Daren in the Naked Chollas for many years.

“It’s all about having fun and shaking what God gave you on that dance floor. You know the Amigos are all about having a great time” says Musa. He should know after he and Daren Sweet found success while members of The Naked Chollas selling thousands of records and getting songs published for use on the radio and television.

Now Musa’s songwriting and guitar playing, along with Sweet’s power pop hooks have laid the foundation for the Amigos. With the mighty rhythm section of Brian Blokdijk on bass and Kelly Stamps on drums they will continue to put on energetic live performances as well and writing relevant original material. “You can’t put us into a musical category, says Sweet. We are going to play some great songs, and I can guarantee no one will be disappointed.”
